A major international oil company is in the process of implementing
a large scale Field Development Plan of our offshore asset. The
plan comprises drilling of additional 160 production and injection
wells over a 6 years period and more than doubling of the oil production
to 525 Mstb/d.
The activity level is high and we are therefore looking for Senior
Petroleum/Reservoir engineers to join the reservoir teams in the
Operational Reservoir Engineering Section (ORE) in the Petroleum
Engineering Department (PED).
The Senior Petroleum/Reservoir Engineer will be part of an international
and expanding group of some 10 to 15 reservoir/petroleum engineers
and technical assistants, who are in close co-operation with colleagues
from Geoscience, Drilling, Production and E&P.
Principal Accountabilities
- Actively take part in operational tasks comprising: reporting,
well planning & completion, production allocation and forecasting,
gas lift and water injection surveillance and optimization, evaluation
of reservoir performance and reservoir management.
- Perform ad hoc studies to optimize procedures for and performances
of wells and reservoirs.
- Perform ad hoc reservoir simulation studies (using either existing
models or sector models) to review/optimize the current field
development plan with the objective to improve performance and
recovery both on short term and long term.
